Has this ever happened to anyone?

Sometimes, when i'm having a "lucid" dream, i'll try to control it but my brain will trick me back, its weird. Like i'll try to control something, and it wont work. I think its just me because i'm a VERY anxious person, that might have something to do with it. But its just strange. I have also had dreams where i have strange powers and i still think its real. But yeah, does anyone got this problem?

      Hey, welcome, BTW.

That is actually a fairly common problem. Even experienced LDers have trouble with dream control and super-powers from time to time. Confidance helps. If you believe that you will fail, you most likely will. If you haven't read it yet, I suggest reading at least the first parts of the Nature of Dream Control thread by The Cusp. You can find it here. The thread is long and on-going. And some of it is about waking life and not dreaming, but the basic principles of dream control are what you really ought to know. I've been LDing for years and The Cusp's ideas have really helped me solve some of my dream control issues.
