      Exclamation WBTB or straight from the beggining?

      Im aware that the best way to induce a WILD or LD in general is by combining the WBTB technique with various other ones. However, I was just wondering if it is just as easy to try to induce an LD the first time you go to bed?

      I tend to go to bed around 1-2 every night. When i actually go to bed i can fall sleep within a 5 minute time period as i am very tired by that point. So if i were to try to stay concious while falling asleep (in other words WILD i suppose) would it be just as easy to do it this way as appose to combining it with WBTB?

      I actually just recently had a LD right after falling asleep. It was within minutes of laying down. I've tried to do exactly what I did that night again, and nothing works.

      I say the best bet is WBTB:
      sleep for 5 hours
      wake up read about LDing
      Drink a cup of caffeinated tea
      go back to sleep with the intent of LDing.

      Its definitely not as easy to WILD w/o a WBTB. Ive only done that once and it was completely by mistake; it wasnt very vivid and didnt last very long either. Ive yet to ever do it again so I just decided that its better to do WILDs w/ WBTBs. You should always try, of course, to see if its for you.

      I dont think i've ever done it right after falling asleep. But yeah after at least a little bit of sleep.
      Neither Will alone, nor Strength alone.
