      the spinning technique

i was having a bad dream and i was in this house where i started seeing a ghost and this little girl came up to me and told me to move because i was in her spot ( on her bed)- so i moved and i back up toward the far wall and she was moving closer to me so i did the spinning and i started spinning and i was in an open feild but she was there. so i spun again and she would run across the grass around me following my eyes, and the only time she would stop was when i stopped spinning. i couldnt get rid of her.- and then i woke up.

any tips other than spinning that might help?

Spinning never seems to work for me, almost every time I do it I wind up awake or in sleep paralysis... Except for one time that I assume was a false awakening, because I woke up facing my window with the sun blaring in... Only thing is, I covered the window up so the sun couldn't shine in the way it did...

If spinning doesn't work and you find yourself losing lucidity, try wringing your hands, or rubbing them...

      whoa nelly

ok- i had a goal that i would "cum" in my sleep-

i dont even know if its possible but i tried- i started focusing on my "3rd" eye and all that and i started wondering around my dream getting head frum diff chics and i felt it* but i dreamed i was awake and then i went to sleep again in my dream and dreamed the same thing- trying to cum. and i started waking from my "dreams dream" and i stared at my toes and spun- and i fell in an extremely deep sleep* and then after a long while of searching through warehouses and churches attempting to cum- i woke from my "dreams dream" thinking i wa sback in the real world* so i checked my pants and there it was ! i had cum! and i thought i had accomplished something great and i was all happy as i changed into some clean clothes. and then went back to sleep* and when i woke up i realized i didnt actually cum- but i wasnt disappointed because it wasa lotta fun trying*-lol- anyway what im saying is the spinning while looking at your toes works "GREAT" for me. thanx for the tip

What do you mean by sleep paralysis? I remember i instantly realized I was dreaming when i saw aliens and ships coming from the sky. I'm afraid of aliens and the dream was stupid so i did that spinning thing and i kept saying someone's name so I could have a dream about them, but after that I don't remember anything else. After the spinning all i remember is dark. It could have been possible that I forgot that dream, but the spinning has worked for me once before. It was extremely word. After I did the spinning thing i see darkness and this calender/clock thing that shows that time is passing by quickly and soon i had my intented dream that i wanted. Very odd if you ask me.

Sleep paralysis is basically when your logical mind is awake and your brain is taking in information from the real world, but the parts that control dreaming are still active. When you sleep your body paralyzes itself so you don't act out your dreams, so when you're in a sleep paralysis state, you're awake and can see and look around your room, but can't move because the body is still paralyzed, and since your brain is in sleep mode, you can get dream imagery or other odd hallucinations projected into your perception of the real world. Luckily I've never had the hallucinations, just the paralysis, which you can often fight off if you work hard to move.
