I have a lot of dreams with vehicles in them. Some are really weird. I have an '81 Cushman industrial truck I am restoring in the real world. In a dream last night I went to a football game at a school and every time I looked at this lil truck of mine out in parking lot from the stadium, it was a different colour. It was green, then blue, then camoflage. Once I looked at it and it had been turned into a consession stand. Finally it turned orange like it is in real life. In another dream, I had purchased a Rolls Royce Silver Shadow.....mid 70s model. It was blue. As I was driving it, a Ford emblem appeared on the dash. The car started turning red and it slowly became a '50 Ford. Still a nice car but not what I paid for. I begain to think the salesman ripped me off and sold me a Ford disquised as a Rolls. In another dream, I was riding a Harley and suddenly it turned into a minibike. I tend to ride go-carts and lawn mowers in a lot of dreams. Does anyone else have dreams like this? |

"...all life is only a set of pictures in the brain, among which there is no difference betwixt those born of real
things and those born of inward dreamings, and no cause to value the one above the other. " H. P. Lovecraft
If your car turns into a lawnmower maybe it reflects a fear or insecurity. Perhaps the car is a projection of yourself |

this happens to me all the time too. cars shrink while im in them. i park, come back, and my car is something else. i dont know what it means, if anything. maybe its just the mind wandering. |

Ignorant bliss is an oxymoron; but so is miserable truth.

Oh..in another weird vehicle dream there was a big long bicycle made for about ten people. Suddenly it broke into many individual pieces and became ten people on unicycles. Many of the go-cart dreams are really weird. I drove a go-cart through a hotel one time in an attempt to leave and go home. I drove down several flights of stairs and through many hallways. When I exited the hotel I had for a moment a bird's eye view of my route home which would take me over many really tall bridges including the famous rainbow bridge near Port Arthur, Texas. All the other bridges looked kinda dreamlike, but the Rainbow looked to me like she does in real life...a beautiful cantalever design, its one of the tallest bridges in The South. Anyway....back on the dream...the go cart suddenly sprouted lights and all needed equioment to be street legal, and I was on my way! I don't know what the deal is with the go-cart...I don't have one, but my kids do. I live 150 miles from Port Arthur, but I think of the Rainbow Bridge as a symbol of the hometown of my youth. Maybe that is why it looked so real, when all the other dream bridges looked like dream bridges. |

Last night I dreamed I was riding a bicycle in an operating room. I kept trying to leave so I could get out of the surgeon's ways but I couldn't seem to find the way that I came in. When I realized there wasn't any way out it caused me to become lucid. |

OK...trying for the image again. I have it now. Sometimes I think I am 'puter eelitarate! ha ha Anyway....this is exactly how it appeared in the dream, while all the other bridges I had to cross surely didn't look like anything you would wanna drive over. |
