      Sleep deprivation and Lucidity

      Just took my second caffeine pill of the day along with a diet coke. Plan on rocking until about 7 AM to finish this homework up for the weekend. Anyone know if WILD-ing is easier when sleep deprived?

      Well, hypnic jerks are more common when sleep deprived. A hypnic jerk is an annoying twitch or jerk that happens as your body falls asleep. So you may find you can't WILD because you keep twitching at the crucial time. Hopefully you won't have any trouble.

      A cool thing about sleep deprivation as it relates to LDing is that you get REM rebound. Basically this means that you will have extra long dreams all through the night.

      Tibetan training

      In the Tibetan dream Yogas a Master will sometimes keep his student up for one to four days and then at certain times while sleeping wake the student with question about the dreaming and reality.

      problly not because when you go to bed you will go into a deep sleep since you havent sleeped in a while and you dont dream during deep sleep. you only dream during REM i think so try a WBTB that way you will fall right back to sleep in REM makes it way easyer.

      Well, 5 more hours to go. 10 more pages of reading, then a few pages of response to the last hundred pages ive read, then im done for the night. The caffeine pill and the amount of caffeine i had is about 20 sodas, plus i hate some food so as long as there is food in my stomach, I'm going to be getting caffeine. So no sleeping for me for the next 6 hours .. hooray.

      I think the 'deep sleep only' only applies when you are EXTREMELY sleep deprived.

      Stupid contacts dried out made it harder to see with them in then with them out.
