Im not sure on which, But i've heard that certain drugs can affect your Dream Recall, so I wouldn't reccommend taking any before you go to sleep.

Keep a Dream Journal to write down your dreams as soon as you wake up.

When you first wake up, DONT MOVE, just lay there and try to recall your dream, from the end to the start.

If you don't remember your dream, or all of it, try to remember something you were feeling in your dream, or certain people/places in your dream, and write that down in your dream journal also, it may spark a memory later.

Theres lots of things you can do, thats just a few of them.

Also, Heres a link to a Dream Recall Tutorial in the forums, it should help also:

Some people have had a good deal of success in increasing their dream recall by taking recourse to Negative Reinforcement, that is, on mornings when they wake up with little or no dream recall, they strike their arms or legs with enough force to inflict enough pain to be appreciably uncomfortable. The Body wishes to avoid pain. If the Body does not yet understand the Pleasures of good Dream Recall, then the Body can be made to comprehend the negative consequences of poor Dream Recall.

Ofcourse, the obvious problem with this technique is that it might be used to the extreme -- that there may be those who suppose that if a little pain does some good, then a lot of pain would naturally do better. One should understand, though, that as with everything else in Life and Engineering, that these effective dynamics trace out actual performance curves, and that there can be too much of a good thing, and especially too much of negative things.

One of my first Spiritual Visions had the Wise Old Man archetype appear to me and he told me "To be your own Master, you must be your own Servant". At first, this aphorism had the effect of increasing my self-discipline -- I was able to follow through on my spiritual activities. But later, it occurred to me that if one can be satisfied with less Ambitions, then one can lighten the load one places on one's self... that one does not have to be so much the Slave of one's own desires. Somewhere between the Extremes is the perfect middleground.

I answered this in your other thread where you asked the same question, but for your convenience here it is again:

For recall, when you wake up every morning, spend about 5 minutes in bed with your eyes closed recalling everything you can that you dreamed that night. Try to start back as far as you can go and then move forward in the night, and when you get stuck try to figure out what happened next, if you can't remember move on. Stay in your bed until you can't remember anything more. You'll probably notice that the farther on in the night the more memorable your dreams.

Try to write down your dreams in a Dream Journal when you wake up. Then you can read through it again before you go to bed to get your mind on dreaming and recall. From time to time go back and read through your dreams.

When you go to sleep, tell your subconscious to help you remember your dreams in the morning. Tell yourself that you will wake up and remember everything. It may sound silly, but with that thought in your mind it may help.

Don't give up. If you just can't remember something, give it your all. If you finally break through and remember something that you were struggling with it will help infinately with your recall. It will teach your mind to reach deep in the depths of your subconscious.
Never stop searching for truth. In your search you may think you have found it, and perhaps you have, but if you hold on tightly to a single thread it will fray and it's greater meaning will become lost. There is always more truth stretching deep beneath the surface that promises to reveal ever greater the infinite, interwoven fabric of truth, woven in the looms of Heaven.
