      Death of a dream character

I was dreaming about my father who really died of phenmonia three years ago. Ok in my dream my father was really sick and in bed and i was talking to him and i said, "Guess what lowers blood sugar?" He said, "What?" And i said, "laughter" (Which it really does because i use to check my blood sugar). But then my father started to laugh in my dream and he died. I was wondering if there's any way to bring a dead dream character back to life?

In a lucid dream? Absolutely. Dream characters don't 'die' in the sense that we do, because the consistency of real life isn't present in a dream (of course). So just will him into the scene. Expecting to find him behind a door or corner is a good way to summon a DC.

my dog died in yesterdays semi-LD. and for sure! didnt your dead appear in your dreams when he was dead in real life? so he appeared because it was your wish and due to that you can wish him back as often as you want to. see my saying in my signa "will it to happen and it will happen!". thats pretty often the answer ^^

Hmm. I've never actually had this happen. There are a few things I'd try, though. First I'd say something like, "Quit messing around, how do you like this shirt I'm wearing?" just to see if I could trick myself into having the DC sit up and talk to me about my shirt (or whatever). You could try something like tickling, where you expect to get a live response out of a person. Just stop thinking of them as dead, and start treating them and viewing them as live DCs again, and theoretically they should come right back to life.
