does any one know if there is a way to induce "awake" SP, because that is the only way for me to have a LD. I hate waiting for it! Thanks. ~J

That picture in your sig reminds me of when this figure seemed to come out of my body and hovereed over me yelling in this demonic voice while i was in sp except it looked scarier, though that looks pretty scary also.

After reading this thread and all the comments about scary hallucinations during SP, I decided to google "sleep paralysis hallucinations" and read some of the stories. That was a mistake because I was never really scared about an "evil presence" when I was in SP before, but last night I had a scary dream about a schitzo that was just about to have a hallucination. His friend was trying to stop him from having the hallucination because he knew a man would appear and torture the schitzo (it reminded me of the end of a beautiful mind). The hallucination appeared and was a scary, evil presence and jumped into the schitzo's body to start the torturing....

This was when I awoke in SP, and my goal has been to just keep myself relaxed and tell myself that SP is normal and turn it into an LD. I couldn't stop thinking about the evil man jumping into the schitzo's body, and was afraid of being in SP. Then I had an argument with myself in my head about whether or not it was possible for an evil presence to have actually been there with me and the answer is obviously no. But let's just say I didn't try to get back into SP last night. We'll see how tonight goes

I hear this is common when experiencing SP. Germany named the hallucination Alp, a type of vampire that breaks into houses and causes mischief.
