      In need of help

Well, I'm in need of some help. I have good recall so I was able to figure out a good dream sign that works well with RC's (Theres always a spider in my dream, as im terrified of them so whenever i see a spider/bug in real life or in pictures I RC). Well, everynight I attempt a WILD and most of the time I believe I succeed in entering SP. Well maybe im doing somthing wrong, but for me my dreams never 'appear' just instantly I fall asleep. I never really get any hallucinations but lots of flashing faces then all of a sudden im just asleep and In a dream without realizing it. Well I NEVER have had a working RC in my dream, or realized im dreaming. Eventhough I can wake up and remember the whole dream to the detail and even me thinking 'reality check' and holding my mouth and plugging my nose and trying to breathe. I cant seem to convince myself in my dreamstate that if I can breathe without having my nose/mouth open im not awake. I know this might be confusing but I'm just honestly at a lose of what to do. Any input would be greatly appreciated

If the pinch nose and breath technique isnt working for you I would suggest trying a different reality check. I'm still a newb at this too, and I havent done this RC in a dream before but I would suggest trying telekinesis. I've heard telekinesis works really well. Whenever you decide to perform a RC in reality, try to pull an object to your hand such as a cup or pen. In reality you have to really believe this object will move to your hand with the power of your mind.

The goal is that when you perform RCs in your dreams you will use telekinesis, and when it actually works, it will be a very strong clue that you are dreaming. Since it would be embarrassing to be reaching for objects if someone sees you doing that RC in real life, you may want to try just moving objects around to random places so you aren't reaching out your hand like yoda .

Holding your breath and trying to breathe seems to be a pretty boring way to RC when you compare it to moving something in your dream with your mind. Also, I would assume this could help jump start future dream control aspirations if you plan on working on dream control skills in the future.
