So I'm huge into airplanes and I love flying IRL. My question is, because not all of us are fortunate enough to get the chance to fly military jets would that wake you up? I mean they have the power to make you black out in a matter of seconds, and don't you think that maybe pushing yourself really hard in a fighter jet might make you wake up? I'm hesitant to try.

You mean, if you use an LD to fly a jet? Depending on your skill level, the exitement could wake you up, but, other than that, you should not. That's something I want to do too, and I already have the whole dream planned in my head. You may not get it the first time, but, after a few tries, you should be able to do whatever you want. I don't think that your mind would care about how many Gs you would experience.

You could find a dream-only special military jet that doesn't experience excessive G forces.

As long as you keep your emotions in check im sure you will be ok.

If you want to pass out from G-force then you probably will. It's just like breathing in water, if you bring too much reality to the dream you wont be able to breath under water and then you'd either have to get out or wake up. Passing out might let you go non-lucid or bring you to another dream-scape in the LD. But it does sound freaking cool though! I'm going to try climbing into a plane and flying it right from the ground myself sometime, now that you brought it up.

Yeah I've got hundreds of hours on virtual simulators. I just can't seam to find the money to get a license with the gas prices and all. At least, not at this rate. I bet I could fly a plane IRL if I had to save my life.
