dream guide?

i see this often and i am curious to know what a "dream guide" is... damn i hate admitting that i am a newbie.....

Feyd, we were all newbies at one time...except maybe LDGuy, I think he was born inherentlylucid... BTW, I like the first part of your name. Dream Guides (in dreams) are not always reliable, from what I understand. They're supposed to be someone you can summon in a dream to answer questions or show you things you wouldn't remember or something like that. They're unreliable because more often than not you end up with a generic DC who will not be helpful in the least. I've heard ppl say that they sometimes don't answer their questions or are just plain frustrating. I've heard accounts (I haven't been able to LD long enough to summon a DG) of ppl who've found their real DGs, but you'd have to talk to those ppl who have. If you're talking about DGs on this website than they're specially designated people who have been around the site and are fairly experienced when it comes to LDing. If you have any questions regarding LDs or dreams in general feel free to contact them. Their names usually appear in either green text or on a green background. I hope I've been of some help.

Kaniaz is right anyway, yes they are pretty unreliable. I think i've summoned mine 4 or 5 times and they all had different forms. One wasnt even human, probably mutated, i dunno. I asked one of my more nicer DG's if we could work together and help me in getting more lucid dreams and he said No and refused to give me an answer as to why. I was kinda mad at that. i've read that there is a way to find out if that person is really your DG or not. If you want to know, then ask.
