Dream Recall ~ fits and spurts

Hi, I am new to the forum, but not new to LD or dream stuff. I wonder if any of y'all have had this experience: I have pretty decent dream recall, not perfect, but good. I can almost always recall one dream a night, if not more. Lately, since I have been more rigorous about keeping a journal I've noticed the pattern where I will have a few day of dreams that I recall with great intensity and then a few days where I have seem to have no recall at all. Any thoughts about this? I find it it kind of a bummer when a few days go by without a dream... It makes it difficult to induce LDs. ciao bella ~ kevin

My recall has always been sort of steady, but even when I am writing down every dream that I can remember I can still go a night without remembering one.
