hi, i've just joined up and i need some sensitive advice on two things - recently i had a lucid dream about a man who i haven't spoken to for many years. we were both in love. a couple of weeks later he called me out of the blue asking how i am. since the event i have really been feeling love for him. he says he still has feelings for me but i think i am a lot more certain than he is. he doesn't recall having such a dream. on the home page of this website it says not to be caught up in pseudo -realities.. i feel as though i am caught up in this. what do you think this could mean? also, i had a lucid dream just recently where i wanted to fly to see him but i wasn't able to - i was restricted by the ceiling. it was as though i had told myself that i couldn't do it. any thoughts? thanks

First of all, WELCOME TO THE FORUMS! im sure youll love it here. and now onto the dream interpretation/advice. (disclaimer, this is solely my opinion. it should not be regarded as fact.) well, you know what they all say, one good prophetic lucid deserves another! right? That lucid where you were restricted, what do you think it means? is there anything physical stopping you from getting to him?is there anyone else in the way? un-finished buisness? could this dream come true the same way the other did? you need to ask yourself these questions before anything else. good luck!

I'm 100% sure she wasn't really with me in her own dream. Also, we 'can' restrict ourselves in LDs. You should have tried alternate ways to get out of the house, maybe by opening a window and flying out of it or even opening a door and walking out. There are many ways to get past mind-blocks in LDs. One question though....have you always been in love with this guy, or did your feelings for him become stronger because of the dream?

hey thank you for your replies and advice. practising lucid dreaming is pretty new to me so i will keep it in mind to not be so ambitious next time with flying and give up straight away! i have hardly ever thought of him in the past 7 years .. and i had pushed his love away at the time. i don't know if i would have even replied to his email if i hadn't had the dream. now this dream really has wired me up to feel so much for him.

Well I can understand that. Every time I dream of a guy in some sort of romantic way, no matter who he is, I always have strong feelings for him after wards....even if I hadn't thought of the guy much before the dream. It's so weird actually. But this only has happened to me in ordinary dreaming. I've never had a lucid dream about anyone I know, except for the Nicole Kidman appearance the other night, but no guys that I know, so far.
