Thread: Hello! A couple interesting questions..

Hi! I´m new here. I have been reading DW for a while and now I decided to register. And I have some questions.

First of all, how can I make myself not wake up?
Second of all I have an interesting question. When we breath in a dream, do we breath the air in the dream or the external air?

I just though I´ll post those as a start.

You're breathing the air in your bedroom or wherever it is that you're sleeping.

Try rubbing your hands together, or critically examining aspects of the environment.

There isn't really air in a dream, or breathing, just the experience of breathing. So, I guess within the dream, if you breathe, you could be breathing anything, including air, or water, or liquid hot magma.

Externally, your body continues to breath the ambient gas, y'know, so as not to die.

I think I know what he means, I have felt the sensation of breathing air in real life while lucid dreaming. It is most noticeable if you are underwater in your dream.

This could be due to a carrying over of sensations from real life to your dream, similar to the way in which sometimes external sounds can be heard during dreams. I would predict that this would be most likely to happen during light sleep.

Usually when I dream, I breath dream air, which doesn't really exists, so I die every night.

About that breathing....

I mean, of course I know that we breath while we dream. But what I ment was, do we "breath the dream air", you know? I mean like, do we feel like we would be breathing in the dream, or does the sensation of breathing come from outside?

I started thinking this after some of my nose RCs failed....

And yet something more Here I go:

I have had tons of experiences in wich I have been half asleep. And when I am half asleep, I wake up and fall asleep rapidly. That is the moment for WILDing for me. Usually my experience is something like this:

I hear this loud "BEEEEP" in my head. It feels like I´m collapsing. Then I open my eyes and see a dreamworld. I quicly grab something and do something with it to get into the dream. Or sometimes I imagine something like a scary man, who stares at me and starts strangeling me. That is when I look at my hands.....

But how could I do that same thing like after WBTB without chaining?
