      Dry spell broken! Whopie

Last night I had My first lucid dream in over 2 weeks.
Best part is it wasn't just 1 it was 2.

The first one was only a couple of seconds due to me not stabalizing the dream right away.
After the dream failed i felt myself coming back and my sence of touch returning, which was really trippy.

The second was very long and fantastic quality.
I spent some time just working on the detail of the dream, from looking closely at things to knocking my knuckles on the floor to hear the sound. I even tried eating some tape I found on A shelf. It tasted like salty sugar.

Any way both of the dreams I just realized I was dreaming right away, I didn't even have to do a reality check or anything.

Has any one else had success with just automatically recognizing that your dreaming?

I just wanted to let you know that your recent lucid dream experience is exceptional. I am not sure how long you have been lucid dreaming, but it has taken me quite a few years to achieve the same results. I'm able to recognize fairly quickly when I am dreaming as well and usually start my lucid dream in the same way.

It is in the basic analytical intention of your dream that really impressed me and thats why I wanted to reply. I also had to comment because its funny, I always look for something to taste too.

Anyway, I just wanted to validate your experience. Congratulations.

Just so you dont waste any other opportunities, I have learned to save flying, or any other more stimulating experiences for last, when I am ready to accept an exit to my lucidity. You might already know that, but just in case there's something I can offer.

      Take care.

      Thanks for the reply.
I'm still in the stage where I'm still really impressed that my mind came up with the scenario and scenery so I always have to test objects and look closely at things.

Every time I have a lucid I still say to my self "Holy crap I'm dreaming" lol

Awesome man... breaking a dry spell is always a relief. Once you've experienced this, you know you can do it again, which helps maintain determination if you have another dry spell.

I just had a super mini dry spell last week. I was out of town and my sleep schedual was way out a wack and I was getting no lucids and barely any dreams. Then when I got back to my regular sleep schedual I had 5 dreams in one night 2 lucids and incredibly visualasations.
It was one hell to an end of a dry spell.
