      Technique meshing

I've been experimenting with a few different things and started thinking about the possibilities of combining VILD and WILD together. In theory, im thinking that focusing on a visualation of your objectives, and also waking up 4 or 6 hrs after sleep would yield some results
has anyone tried something like this?

they are already pretty much the same thing, VILD and WILD.
both you need to wake up in the middle of the night for and when i WILD i usually use some sort of visualization.

A VILD is simply a WILD where you visualize a dreamscape.

What you are talking about is a VILD, a WILD while visualizing, and a WBTB. This is how many, many people WILD.

yeah, WILD Is a broad term, as you know it stands for Wake Initiated Lucid Dream. so it describes any technique that you use to go from being awake to dreaming without losing consciousness. as mentioned, a VILD is a type of WILD, and so is a DEILD (even though your only awake for a few seconds).

edit: WILD can also arguable stand for Wake Induced Lucid Dream

To complicate the matter further, VILD is a technique that can result in either a DILD or a WILD.
