      Returning from a dream

Originally when I woke up from my dream I could feel my self returning to my body I.E. my senses coming back starting to hear things, beginning to feel the bed.

But lately I've been coming back instantly as if it was a day dream.

As well as some of my lucids turning into daydream where I'm just thinking of what I would do if I was dreaming.

This has been happening a lot lately.
I was wondering if anybody had any similar experiences.
And how you dealt with it.

Usually I sense that the dream is about to end. I'm not sure what it is that tips me off, but I almost always know, even if I wasn't lucid before this point. Then it is sort of half and half -- either I slowly come back to the senses of my body or I'm just instantly back.

Sometimes my dream will fade slowly and I lay there daydreaming about it. If I haven't moved (much) and I'm in the middle of a REM phase I'll just fade back into the dream, doing a DEILD wether I mean to or not. I was actually surpriesd when I realized that DEILD was just a name for what I've done accidentally all my life!

If I'm laying there daydreaming about my dream and I don't slip back into a dream one of two things will happen. Either I think about it and fix my intention to return to in in my next dream and then fall asleep, or I wake up for the day. When I think about the dream and resolve to return to it it actually happens about 70% of the time. I don't think, "Meh, I'd like to go back to that dream." I think, "I'm going back to that dream. Now." And then I fall asleep.

      Hope this helps!

      Sometimes its almost instantaneous.
Other times, everything fades out and I gradually become aware of my sleeping body.

On time I clearly felt my dream body move to match my sleeping body. I felt like I was on my back. I was very confused as I thought I had fallen asleep on my side.

Sure enough though, when I did wake up I was on my back.

      I noticed it this morning!!
      (I never noticiced it before!)

I cant remeber my drem (well I can Just bits and pieces due to the medicine I am on )
but I seen a ghost thing, that was somewhat frighting.. not really though.. I thought.. "oh... Kinda scary" lol
then I slowly felt my bed and everything like you said. and I said "I must be dreaming" then I slowly opened my eyes and I felt a sence of "were am i?"
I did a reality check to make sure I wasent dreaming.. then I went back to sleep for another two hours, and I still cant remeber my dreams
