      Every time that you worry that you need to get a gift for someone... think about how many dreams are about stupid anxieties that carry over from waking life, or just anxiety and problems in general... do a RC whenever you realize you're thinking about needing to go gift shopping! OR having the $$$$ to go gift shopping (yikes)

      It may work after Christmas because then you will have a comparator with reality where it's no longer Christmas.

      I had to think about what you said IMJ... but it makes sense... the snow will melt, no more decorations (actually some keep them up way too long! LOL) but that in it self becomes a reminder. What month is it? Should there be decorations up at THIS house? Are they the same decorations I saw last week at that house, have the colors changed? Etc...
