I have this real issue with Lucid dreaming. I had quite a few when I was younger, and they scared the crap out of me. I could almost compare them to night terrors, but I was awake in them and when I tried to wake up my whole body would be paralyzed and if I didn't force a part of me to move, I would drop back into the dream as if I had never woke up. My dreams are often very frightning and others are very erotic. As of this month I have had lucid dreams everyday. This morning I had a fight with a guy that i had no clue who he was and he dumped me out of the bed. I actually felt like I had hit the floor, only to bounce on my bed?????? HOW do I BOUNCE on the bed?? I have had dreams where I was falling and I hit the bed and bounce.......HELP????? |

How?......If you can tell me, you will make me feel much better |

What you are experiencing is sleep paralysis. SP happens when your body shuts its self off during sleep. This prevents you from acting out your dreams with your physical body while you are asleep. Your experiences are from a half sleep half awake state that you get from brief awakenings. You could be entering dream states before SP because you are already in your REM cycle, which could cause physical movement (in the real world) while you are dreaming causing it to seem more real. |

Dunno about the bouncing (congrats, you can fly?), but the night terror thing is as prodigy says - sleep paralysis. |
