      Sleep Paralysis

      Sup,

Im not sure where to put this topic so I just put it in this section, move it if you have too, sorry.

Anyways, I was reading of ways to induce sleep paralysis while still being "awake", tricking your body. Id like to try this but I want to hear what other people have to say about it, who have tried it, because I'm pretty scared to try since Ive read of people hearing auditory and seeing visual hallucinations, scary figures and such.

      Thanks

In my experience with sp, although I haven't gotten all the way into SP. I have experienced the HI. It isn't really all that bad, the worst thing I ever had was some deep creepy voice saying "Hey there" Other than that, it is random conversations that I find quite funny.

When I started out LDing, I had a lot of visual and auditory hallucinations, but it really wasn't that bad. Very rarely were they that intense. Nowadays, I don't get them as much anymore... probably because I heard so much about them, I expected them to happen to me.

Sorry if I seem like I'm advertising and or spamming, but... The method I linked to earlier is for this exact purpose of inducing sleep paralysis while still being "awake". Just as you stated. http://www.dreamviews.com/community/...ad.php?t=69777

Just couldn't let this be overlooked.

The sugar seems to supply your tired body with just enough energy to put and keep you in SP. Also, as stated by others, there is nothing to fear about SP. While "scary" hallucinations can occur, they very rarely happen (at least for me). Most of the hallucinations I have had during Sp are quite amazing. Such as everything you see turning to liquid and melting and pulsating to the music. All the experiences I have had with my method of SPing have been quite astounding. The best part is when you fall out of SP and into the REM phase of sleep. I have had the most vivid, lengthly, and easily/fully recallable LDs after SISP. Oh I could just go on and on about all the amazing experiences this method has provided me with. I bought almost 500 sugar cubes all for this purpose, and it only takes 1 to do SISP for me! GOD I LOVE THIS METHOD!!!
