Dream Body - Not a normal dream object + question

      Hello

So, Dream Body, the subject in this thread. First of all, here is some info about the DB:

I think that the DB is not a normal object. Why? Well, cuz you have a nervous system. The brain knows 100% accurately, where the nerves are, how they connect and so on. 100%. (Cuz that is one of the corner stones for our evolution, for example: you step on a nail. When the pain reaches our brain, then the brain sends a signal back to pull the leg away) So the brain knows the nervous system, not just something like the spinal core.

When we are dreaming our nervous system cuts all connection somewhere in the spinal core = Sleep Paralysis. So then the brain recreates the whole nervous system in to our dream body, because it thinks, that the nervous system still works normally (but now you get the nervous signals from INSIDE your brain, not from the real nervous system) = Dreaming. The visual signals, audio signals, everything gets recreated. I think, that most of us know that anyway... But anyway, that is how our dreams, and our very dream body gets created.

      Then the point itself:
I think, that when we dream, then our "dream body" has a very realistic nervous system in it. And when we, for example, grab an object and lift it, it stays in our hand. Why? Well, your nervous system says, that you feel an object in your hand. Then you send a nervous signal (move!) to your hand, which gets reported to the brain. Then the visual input expects, that the visual object must be moving, so it moves. (If we do not controll it to not to move)

Do you think, that I am right?

      Then some weird writing...
Usually, when I have a lucid dream, my dream body is not as solid, as it should be. I remember just being in an LD, observing my dream body, and noticing this: It gets "ripped apart", then the "wound" grows, explodes, the area of my dream body goes to like these strings, and then the strings come back to my body, making my body solid again. This takes just a couple of secons to complete, and it happens everywhere all the time..

What is your dream body like?

Mine is also extremely realistic when I haven't changed it willingly. I feel everything very strongly yet I sometimes see my body shifting and warping, as you said yourself.

But feelings as pain, pleasure, cold, hot etc. are very realistic and often more vivid than in real world ( at least in cases of positive feelings i.e dream sex )
Jujutsu is the gentle art. It's the art where a small man is going to prove to you, no matter how strong you are, no matter how mad you get, that you're going to have to accept defeat. That's what jujutsu is.

I usually only truly feel that part of my body that I am currently observing, otherwise it's like an FPS more or less- no real focus /feeling of the body it just does what it should.
TAKE DV members advice with caution! some have had zero or 1-2 LD's yet act like gurus

I think you're completely right. The dream body is generated by our mind. Hell, I think the whole dream world is, except for maybe DG's, but I'm not willing to talk about them.

One thing I'd like to do in my dreams is not having a body, but just BE conscious. I guess it would trigger some sort of feeling of epiphany.

      That is possible.

I´ve tried WILDing for a looong time now.. Three times I have reached the stage, where this happens:

All the feeling of pressure, all the feeling of being ripped apart, the HI, everything disappears. I kind of feel, like falling 10 meters and landing on a floor.. Then... Nothing. Only darkness.. No sounds.. I mean, nothing. Just once I though "Hmm, I wanna get in to the dream or get awake, but this is weird", but the rest of the time I did not even think..

A great exp, hope you get it too
