Cannot enter sleep paralysis (while awake)

I have been trying to DEILD or WILD/VILD for awhile now.

DEILD: I wake up before rem period or just about. I keep my eyes closed when I wake. I focus on the last dream I had and try to go to sleep. I just end up my mind asleep because I cannot keep it awake any longer.Failed

WILD: I sit completely still, no movement what so ever. Even tried to trick "sleep" even more by thinking of a dream and twitching the muscle I use. 20 or so minute attempt.Failed

VILD: I stay completely still, visualize, feel, smell, etc, how the dreams going to be. 20 or so minute attempt. Failed

My body won't enter SP when I want it too. Not sure why but I have been trying for 4 days and nothing happens. I can enter partial paralysis before bed but nothing when I wake up from a dream. Not sure what my options are. I really want to try to DEILD because I can wake up after each dream. I really want to try to WILD as well to just see what sleep paralysis is without waking up randomly and being in it with some face staring at me.

Well, these are more advanced techniques and can take time. I think as long as you keep trying, you'll end up succeeding. To be honest it sounds a lot like what even still happens to me. DEILD got me into SP twice but hasn't ever since. Using WILD I've never hit SP, I just enter straight into the dream (the times I get it to work d: ). So just keep trying. I know it can get boring just waiting, but don't treat SP like its required in order to get a lucid. The main focus should be getting the LD and not SP, even though SP can be fun sometimes too.
