Can a hypnogogic sequence be lucid?

Pretty much what it says. I had a really long, extremely detailed dreamlike sequence, and I would count it as a lucid except for not actually having fallen completely asleep. I was able to summon a spirit sword (specifically, a zanpakuto, for those who read/watch Bleach), and move without moving my physical body, and even enter an alternate realm/state/dimension, but there was never any real line between being awake and being asleep. What say you? Hypnogogic sequence or dram sequence, and if it was hypnogogic, can those be considered lucid?

It can lead to a WILD, thats how I get most of my WILDs as I said before in other places. I just grab hold of these images.
