I woke up last night, and thought I would make the best of this and try to preform a WILD. So I relaxed my whole body and focused on my breathing and had a mental image in my minds eye.

I kept doing this for awhile and then next thing I know I felt like I was somewhere else. So I asked myself, "Is this a dream?" I did three RC's, I did the fingers through palm, failed, did the pinch nose and breath, failed, and so I went to look at my wrist watch so I could see the time look away and look back but I didn't have one on. So I optimized for the look at your hand and count your fingers, but my fingers were all out of whack so then I concluded that after three RC's failed that I must be dreaming.

So I ask myself what method this was. While I did achieve a lucid dream, my 2nd one to date and man was it amazing. I am unclear as to what I did. Last I remember I was trying for a WILD however I did not experience any of the "falling through the rabbit hole" sensations that people say you will have if you successfully do a WILD. Also from the very start of the dream I was questioning if it was real or not, so I don't think it was really a DILD. To me it feels like I try to attempt a WILD but fell asleep and remembered enough that when I entered my dream that I did RC's and thus pulled off a WBTB.
