How long does a lucid dream last?

I never really got a clear answer on this, and I have looked and asked around nearly everywhere. All crap aside such as, depends on how experienced you are, what tech you use, how many times you 'spin', REM periods... Give me some insight on how long you are actually experiencing the lucid dream. Real time, and how long it seems. Keep in mind I am kind of a beginner at attaining lucidity. I have done so, but I have difficulty remaining within.

Some only seconds, some 15 minutes. I don't think anyone has gotten an LD over 30 minutes though.

My latest lucid dream was the longest I've ever had, it was 40+ minutes but it felt like it was at least 1 hour .

My latest lucid dream was the longest I've ever had, it was 40+ minutes but it felt like it was at least 1 hour . Same here, one of my earlier lucids was like 40 to 45 minutes, i've come close to that just recently.

I hate to give you such a wish-washy answer, but it all depends on how experienced you are and luck. Mine usually feel like 45 mins, but Ive had ones that inly lasted a few seconds, and some that have felt close to weeks.

Mine have felt like they've lasted up to an hour or more. However lately they have been getting very short and almost nonexistent. But a nice lucid is one that lasts about 15 minutes. Not too short as you can still do a lot in that amount of time, in my opinion.
