      Question

      Has anyone experienced dreaming in the hypnagogic state. I find myself dreaming in the hypnagogic state, I will ask myself if I am dreaming and will realize I am in the hypnagogic state, then I will start another dream, it will go on till I fall asleep.

      The hypnagogic state refers to the period between wakefulness and sleep. Are you talking about dreams you are having while awake?

      I think I know what you mean. You mean where you're not quite asleep, but you're far enough in the hypnagogic state to see an entire scene play out in your mind?

      Yeah I've experienced that, but it's always very short lived, and when I realise what's happening I tend to come fully awake again.
