dream about what you hear on tv?

sometimes i have dreams like im in a movie thats on my television if i forget to shut it off..i wanted to know does this happen to alot of you? can you turn on a audio and ull dream about it that night?

Iv had experiences where sounds from waking life have entered my dream world,
alarm clock,tv etc

ask for your question, i have tried repeatably to use audio to induce lucid dreaming while asleep, nothing ever made it to my dream world when i was trying to do it

Sometimes when the radio is playing and I'm dreaming, the person's voice on the radio makes it into my dream. It's surprising when I wake up to hear in real life what was just happening in my dream. It's one of those

"Hey WAIT a minute" moments. It's like the dream carried over into waking life for a few moments and it's confusing.

The brain must be processing that audio input in real time as I hear it as I'm sleep. These occasions are rare though. Are perhaps they happen all the time and I just don't know it. The only time I can prove they happened are on those rare occassions when I just happen to wake up while the audio is influencing my dream.

In my very first (WI)LD, I was standing in the middle of a road. A black SUV was approaching me from my right and the sound that the engine was making was actually the sound of my fan (which was on my right). I found that interesting how my (dream) mind interpreted the sounds of the fan as an element in my dream.
