Strange dreams after my wife's surgery

First, I am very happily married with 3 teenage children. My wife had a hystorectomy 9 weeks ago and since then I have been having a lucid dreamWhere I am at home with a number of other people I know but don't remember who they are. My sister and her husband are there as well. I am in the dining room and there is lots going on. I see my sister in the kitchen wearing one of my wifes big skirts. Its noticable as they are long and you don't tend to see other women wearing them, certainly not my sister. Then I see my wife walking past the doorway looking really agitated. I notice he sees the front of her skirt is sticking out and I know it is made by her penis but but I am confused as I know she doesn't have one. After a couple of minutes, she then comes into the dining room with drinks looking bothered and flustered. I ask her what is wrong and she tells me she is upset by her penis as she cannot get rid of her erection! She is really embarrassed by it which is really upsetting her with all the people around. She then goes off to be alone whereupon I make my excuses and leave to help her out. I find her in the bedroom laying on the bed, flat on her back sobbing. I sit next to her, and ask her if she wants me to sort out her erection. Without an answer I take hold of her penis through her skirt and start to rub it up and down. She does not resist or protest and it seems normal to her It's at this point I wakes up. I don't know why I get this dream or similar, often 3 or 4 times each week. The only obvious link is that after her surgery, she was tested and had to be entered as male as she didn't have a womb anymore. Other than that I have no idea why I would dream of her with a penis or why she would be walking around without underwear given she had one or why I would want to masturbate someone elses penis. I am not gay and we are pretty conservative when it comes to love making. We don't play adventurous games or anything. We haven't made love since the surgery as we have been told to lay off it until she is fully healed. I'd appreciate any help in understanding why I am getting this dream such a lot.

haha I understand your concern... 3 to 4 times a week is a lot. I would just let your subconscious do what it wants to and let the dreams play themselves out. There could be a number of reasons why your having that dream. I find it odd though, since my first assumption would be the emotional relationship you have with your wife has changed, since emotional changes can have big effects on your dreams. It's kind of silly how those dreams are based on something so factual I really wouldn't worry, you might make sense of it on your own sometime... Is she always sad / crying / in them?

Yes, but in the dream I seem to think its the frustration of the situation rather than anything deep.
