Is there a term for this post-dream event?

I often have those dreams of waking up and doing something routine in my day. I wake up, forget about the dream, and the dream memory is triggered when I experience the reality of my dream. It can be anything from going to the washroom, getting dressed, or something less routine, like going shopping, despite deciding to go shopping on the spur of the moment throughout the day and then instantly recalling that I had a dream that I was going to go shopping. I don't know if it falls under the precognitive dreaming term, or not?

      I like 'triggered recall'

Just now I was talking to Placebo about a dream I had and it triggered memories of other dreams that I had during the night. Maybe an afternoon review is a good exercise for recall?

I had about 6 dreams last night, but it was in spurts of waking/sleeping
As a result I only recalled the last dream at first
On the way to work, I triggered the recall of one of them - because of traffic cops

Its can be useful as a last resort - try testing all the things around you and check if they remind you of a dream
Its way better to catch the recall when you wake up though

      normal stuff

Here's a funny one for ya! The first time I ever realized I was in
a dream was when I was taking a pee. As I was leaving, I flipped
off the light switch and it didn't go off. Did it a few more times and
it still didn't work. This is one of the methods mentioned in the
movie, "Waking Life" so I knew I was dreaming. I walked into the
next room and realized it wasn't the next room at all. It lasted no
more than 10 seconds, but man was I excited when I woke up.
Anyway, yeah I have normal dreams like that all the time. Especially
when nothing too big is going on in my life. I think I usually don't
remember them, but when I do I usually get a little dissappointed
that my subconscious isn't being a little more creative. I mean,
come on subconscious artist, let's get crackin! Right? Welcome to
      the Dreamviews board, friend!
Just a friendly reminder to do a reality check. : ) Are you dreaming? How do you know?

Yeah, I like triggered recall. Good one!
But I haven't heard it called anything else.

The triggers are rarely apparent for me. I might just be brushing my teeth and thinking about something completely different, and then just remember some weird dream I had the night before.
