I have that happen all the time too. And no, i don't know a term for it.. i suppose you could call it triggered dream recall, or delayed dream recall... |

I often have those dreams of waking up and doing something routine in my day. I wake up, forget about the dream, and the dream memory is triggered when I experience the reality of my dream. It can be anything from going to the washroom, getting dressed, or something less routine, like going shopping, despite deciding to go shopping on the spur of the moment throughout the day and then instantly recalling that I had a dream that I was going to go shopping. I don't know if it falls under the precognitive dreaming term, or not? |

The triggers are rarely apparent for me. I might just be brushing my teeth and thinking about something completely different, and then just remember some weird dream I had the night before. |
