      Getting back into LDing

Well, my last LD was in February. I haven't really been in the mindset needed to get an LD as College was ramping up with the objects and whatnot. But now I'm done and I'm eager to have more LDS. Over the last few mornings I've been waking up during pretty intense paralysis. But as I said, as my mind isn't thinking about LDs I generally shrug it off and go to sleep. So, tonights the night when I intend on getting back into it.

Any suggestions for someone who has been out of the loop to jump back in? Maybe not so much LD techniques but rather something to keep me focused if possible.

      Thanks!

Hey, Denny! Long time no see.

I've fallen out of LDing before, but usually posting in the dream section and answering questions alot gets me excited again. Plus, helping other people with LD problems reminds me how to fix those same problems. Just, gets my LD knowledge center rolling again.

      Hi

It's nice to be back. Lately my recall has been quite good but I guess posting here will get me in the right mind set.

      Thanks!

Hey Denny, welcome back I don't know if you're interested, but I've been filling my dream journal with all sorts of stuff to get people LDing (via DILD, which I see you're more accomplished with).

To me, getting back into LDing really always involves 1) starting a DJ, looking for dream signs, 2) reality checking regularly, 3) keeping goals to keep you motivated and excited

Yup, exactly like Shift said. I'm also in the process of getting back into LD's! So, I'm starting up a new DJ, and starting to reality check regularly.

      Excellent stuff

I have a new-ish DJ that is a hardback and only has two LDs written down on it. I added a new entry today though. Also Shify, granted I've had more DILDs but I often get frustrated by the fact that they can happen anytime and that they're mostly extremely short. Then again, the foundatons to a DILD are the basic foundations to any LD so I'll start getting into that. Thanks for the link too!

man, I need to get back to it as well, miss it alot, but like Denny I've been busy with studying.

When exams are done in 2 weeks I'm gonna get back to LD'ing, and maybe get myself a dreamjournal, never used that since I seem to remember almost any dream I've ever had, more or less, but it might still help...

And if not, still be fun to have and might be helpful when writing some lyrics

      good luck, Denny

      Thanks again guys!

Yeah, I've been starting my journal again, deepsleep. It's tricky as my recall has gone to crap but it's one step at a time I guess.
