Are you a natural LD'er?

I am curious if there is any natural lucid dreamers here. By a natural lucid dreamer, I mean a person who is able to lucid dream quite spontaneously, and does not need to use any inducing methods to become lucid.

I do not need induction methods to have lucid dreams, however, they really increase the frequency. I guess about 50% of my LDs are spontaneous, but I wouldn't consider myself a natural be any means.

Most of my LDs are not induced. They are just realised, most of the time even without RCs. But i've been lucid dreaming since i was about 10, not every night mind you, but i remember doing it at least once a month since then. Since i've joined DV, that has been increased, but i have been in a sort of dry spell, a drought of dream if you will. I have not been able to remember my dreams very well lately. Vox

Had I kept my abilities from when I was younger, I'd be able to call myself a natural, but alas I did not. I've only got 3 LDs under my belt since July. I can't wait until winter break to do some experimentation with Dream Re-entry, which I used several times when younger, and see how well that works for me. -Amé

i dont consider my self a natural too..but i def can have lucid dreams if i want them...right now im trying not to be lucid coz everytime i do i just go on do the nasty or start playing around ''which is fun'' but i think it reuins the natural meenings of your dreams..so i would have them once a week or when im really bored currently im trying to build my own dream dictionary

I am, I am! Though they can be really sporadic sometimes...

I could say I was a natural when I was younger. When I was like 12-14 years old, maybe younger, I lucid dreamt almost every night. I had an amazing ability to realize the dream as soon as it appeared. Then drugs happened and I lost that special ability. Now I am resorting to induction techniques.........blech.

Like many of the others, I had my first LD when I was quite young, and sporadically since then. They happened wiithout any effort on my part, so I guess that makes me a natural. But I want to be able to do it more consistently -- that's why I'm here. I've only been reading about this for a week, but already I've had my most vivid and "in control" LD yet since trying some of the stuff I've found here.
