      Just a thought

      Hey ive kind of thought about this for a while, does anyone think its possible to actually record your dreams. like have something attatched to your head(something small and light so that it doesnt affect you.

      I think in the future they could create something like that yes... perhaps maybe not record, but a mimicker of brainstates between two people... you could share thoughts that way. At the same time, you wouldnt be able to be sure if you were actually experiencing the SAME things... but you'd both be experiencing the same brain states. If they get to that point quite a few things about the brain could be figured out! As for recording - perhaps.

      Even then... you'd have the same difficulties as with dream interpretation and shared dreaming
      Everyone's associations regarding different subjects can be different
      Take a simple example like 'red'. One person things of 'danger, violence, blood'... another thinks 'Love, romance, hippyism '

      So mimicking the brainstates is not nearly good enough, if you consider how complicated our belief systems are ...
