Thread: How do your DCs react when/if tell them you're dreaming?

Just a random question. I'm wondering how different peoples dream characters react when told that its a dream. I sometimes ask this during lucid dreams.

The funniest incident for me was when I told my friends, who I was shopping with (in the dream) before becoming lucid.

"Hey guys," I said "I'm dreaming!"

Their response however was a bit unexpected:

"What?" my best friend said "I MUST KILL YOU!"

Then they started chasing me trying to murder me. This would normally be pretty scary but I has superpowers so it was actually really fun.

Most of the time though they don't really react and occaisionly they just accept the statement, argue that its not a dream or look slightly confused.

Varies,

Sometimes they just go dumb and slack like puppets.
Sometimes they start talking in gibberish.
Sometimes they wander off.
Sometimes they are upset.

Theres no consistent response. They do after all respond to your expectations about how they should respod, which may well vary.

When i tell my DCs im dreaming sometimes they dont believe me but most of the time they are like "YES BIE THATS BURNT" or something liek that..

They become agressive and attacks me ever...

Or them yells at me saying that i'm a dream character and i don't exist....

I sometimes tell dream characters that it's not real without being lucid. O.o I actually was in a really macabre dream last night, and showed my "friends" that I could stab myself in the hand without feeling any pain. I actually felt something at entry, but obviously nothing really painful. It was my imagination, hehe. But I don't remember what they said. I was sort of fascinated. Probably near lucidity, but couldn't reach it.
