      I cant belive this (panicing)

i was reading the forums today and i saw someone's post about sleeping positions and sleep paralysis.

then i made a reply , now that i think about it, all the little sleep paralysis i have noticed and had in the past was when i was lying on by back.

SO just a few mins ago i tried to sleep on my back while chanting, 'i will lucid dream'

after about 3 mins. i began to see flashes, and my heart beat went completly off the chats. i thought i could calm down, but i couldnt, so i have just woken up, gona calm down, and try to sleep again.

this has never ever happened to me. ever.

actually i still feel pretty spooked out and tired, am gona take a short breather outside b4 trying to sleep again.

      CALM DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      calm?

Ok yeah that is the onset of sleep paralysis and with it you get hypnogogic hallucinations which can come in the form of tactile sensations such as your heart feeling like it will beat right out of your chest. I've had the same thing, several times. Just try to relax and go with it, soon you'll enter a dream scene! Just know that nothing is wrong with you, it is quite normal actually

Anyone free to correct me if I explained this wrong, I'm not a pro but I get SP naturally so I know the feeling

Yup, this is just the beginnings of Sleep Paralysis. It's no big deal. It's not my cup of tea, but it's normal in the sense that EVERYBODY who doesn't have a disorder goes into it every night....you were just aware of yourself going into it. Usually, everybody is asleep when they experience it.

If you go with the SP next time, you can enter a Lucid easily.
