      Did i almost have it?

okay so i joined here like four days ago and Lding is basically all i can think about.. Ive been doining RC's and Dream Journaling for Dilds but i know that this can take some time to induce so i thought i would try WILDS also.

So this would be my third atempt in the WIlD the previous two did nothing but leave me really tired and weak

I layed there and after about 20 minutes i felt some tingiling in my feet and my arms seem to become numb but it wasnt to much of a numb feeling to know for sure if i was falling under SP after like 45 minutes my mind just drifted off into thoughts about my friends... then after a while i realized that i had stopped thinking about breathing and that i had drifted into almost like a day dream... well i noticed that my whole body was like tingling and numb i became really excited and thought "IM doing it!" and so i Started focusing on breathing and was trying to breath kinda heavy like i was sleeping and about 10 seconds later the numbness was gone...

so did i almost do a wild... im not sure because im not really sure if i felt the two sets of vibrations that i keep hearing about..

I think its important not to concentrate too much on your breathing. Most of your breath needs to occur naturally and not forcefully.

When attempting to WILD. I have always found that concentrating on whats happening to my body sometimes snaps me out of it. I sort of go with the flow just making sure I don't fall asleep.
      Once SP occurs, you'll know.

mrdeano is right, you'll know when it happens.

i had like the same results you did when i first attempted WILD. i never felt like I actually got it, like maybe a short lucid dream and i started rubbing my hands in it and actually started feeling

try focusing more on these daydream things. i got lucid from them. If you keep them long enough and stay aware, you will start seeing instead of imagening, then you'll start feeling the dream instead of feeling your bed.

i think this is best practiced in the later morning hours or during a nap but it is possible to do it earlier in the night

WILD is my favourite technique, and it sounds like your at least getting the first steps down. Like the previous replies said, you'll know when it happens. The vibrations will be quite intense, especially on your first few times getting there.

Now that I have some experience with this technique it comes much easier, and the vibrations aren't as intense. Check out the website in my sig for a little more info on my experiences with WILD, they might provide you with some tips you could use to further it.

      Keep trying, you'll get it!
