Does being tired at night affect LDing?

When I go to bed, I'm always tired. I never go to bed early etc. etc.

Does this have any affect on lding?

I usually go to bed on a schedule, but one day i went to bed really late and had to go to school...that night was packed full of dreams. I remembered pretty much all of them.

I find that if I go to bed late and have to get up in the morning, my dream recall is horrible, because I'm just trying to sleep. I don't take time to recall dreams after every REM period. However, when I can sleep in, I find that I have pretty good dream recall, and definitely recall more dreams, but that could be because of more time spent in REM sleep. As long as you wake up after every REM period and can make the effort to recall your dreams, and you get at least 6 hours of sleep, dreaming shouldn't be affected too much. I say 6 because that is the point at which REM sleep is longer, and, it seems, more intense.
Well life is short, so love the one ya' got, 'cause you might get run over or you might get shot.
