      Quick Question

When I lucid dream, I usually have a hard time staying asleep long enough to do anything. Let us say I realize I'm in a dream and I want to teleport to a new location. When I try to teleport everything gets all cloudy and then I wake up.

Does anyone know why that is?

i think you may be really excited when you figure out your dreaming and jumping into things too fast causing you to wake up. next time you become lucid really try to focus and stabilize the dream, say things like "clarity now!" to make the dream more clear and once you feel that you have stabilized the dream enough then you should try teleporting or other control techniques.

heres a link to the stabilization tutorial
