      Strange lucid dream

Last night I had one of the weirdest dreams I have had in a while.

It first started off where I was watching myself in bed, sleeping. I wasn't doing much while watching myself sleep, so I got bored and started slapping my sleep self in the face. Nothing much happened with that, so I just sat on my bed. After a while I got tired, so I laid down on top of my sleep-self and fell back asleep. As one person again.

A little while later I woke up (in my dream) and just walked around my house. I went to the bathroom, made some food, and just hung out around the house. Next I remember, I am back in my bed trying to fall asleep again.

I feel something under my pillow and look to see what it is. It is a scorpian. I rip off the blankets and see about 30 scorpians in my bed. Once this happens I realize I am dreaming (there is no way that scorpians live where I do). Once I figure i'm dreaming, I figure I can do anything. So I start to play with the scorpians

I was playing with them, teaching them tricks, and juggling with them. It was quite grand. All this time they are stinging me, but no effect comes from the stings. I find a box and put them in for later.

I walk upstairs and i'm in a room of nothing. Just blank white everywhere. All of a sudden paint comes out of my fingers (like spider man) and I am painting on the walls. Colors were everywhere and it was awesome. Once I am finished, the colors come flaying off the walls.

Unfortunally my alarm went off right after this part. I hope to somehow continue this dream, it was pretty interesting.

However, when I did wake up (in RL) I found that I had scratches and makes all over my body. Has this happened to anyone else?

That's pretty cool. Was this your first lucid?

And about the scratches and marks... one time I was in a lucid dream, and I punched a solid brick wall, but it didn't break and I hurt my hand really bad. When I woke up shortly after, my hand was red and hurt a little... kinda creepy... Not sure why that happens.

I'm actually not sure if this was my first or second. (I am still a little confused if my first dream was infact a lucid dream)

And I am looking into what haveing scorpians in your dream actually means

I have no freaking clue! It was pretty freaky. They weren't bad scratches, but you could definately tell something was there.

Haha yeah. I have no clue though if this usually happens with lucid dreaming, or if this rarely happens.

Either way, I did not appreciate this happening

According to http://www.dreammoods.com, having scorpions in your dream means:

      Scorpion

To see a scorpion in your dream, represents a situation in your waking life which may be painful or hurtful. It is also indicative of destructive feelings, "stinging" remarks, bitter words and/or negative thoughts being expressed by or aimed against you. Your dream forewarns of a self-destructive and self-defeating path. The scorpion is also a symbol of death and rebirth. You need to get rid of the old and make room for something new. Alternatively, the scorpion may also represent a person who is born under the astrological sign for Scorpio.

Yeah I have used that site many times to find out what my dreams ment. I am very interested in learning about what dreams mean and things of that nature. That is what led me into lucid dreaming.

What is happening while you sleep can be incorporated into your dream. If something is biting you (a spider) while you sleep it can be brought out in your dream because your body's nerves send the impulse to your brain and your brain tries to interpret what is happening without you waking up.

You can also scratch or pinch your self while asleep. I once tried to wake myself up from a lucid dream by having a character smack me, pinch me, whatever. I thought, let's see if a character can wake me up through dream pain. It didn't work. Now, that would've been funny if I had really been slapping myself in bed. Can you imagine someone coming into your room and seeing that?
