Anyone ever thought they were dreaming when they were not...

Anyone ever thought they were dreaming when they were not and then did something stupid or embarrassing in front of their friends or a crowds?

well, almost. one time I was on my way to a supermarket and I was so busy doing RC's and being "aware" that I totally didn't notice that I was carrying my leather case which I only bring to university (it was like 8-9pm). I got totally confused why that was there and went on a reality checking spree to make sure it wasn't a dream.

btw there used to be another similar thread where people described just such accounts

from what I understand you've had such an experience or you wouldn't have posted- care to share?
TAKE DV members advice with caution! some have had zero or 1-2 LD's yet act like gurus

Hmmm... I didn't see any such thread on here about that... but no, never happen to me, yet, I was just curious if anyone in here have experience this. But I've had many bad RC as far as slip and fall while jumping to see if I can float, asking people are they real ( I always get a bad look from them when I ask them that) Many of my Lucid dreams and false awakening are so real and vivid so I'm sure one day I will confuse reality for a dream

I've yet to have such an experience, but I do recall a story about someone jumping out their window to fly because they were so sure they were asleep. Thankfully, it was on the first story, and he wasn't hurt.
      Just goes to show~

lol... I was afraid to hear a story like that. Sound like the classic movie The Boy Who Can fly

For the first time two days ago. I saw posters I'd seen on the internet all over a store I had visited, and seen a note about something I'd always wanted to attend which they didn't normally do in NZ. Then at another store close by I saw these two things I'd been wanting to order from America for years, pertaining to the posters. I was so psyched and was like, am I dreaming? I didn't do anything stupid though, I just glanced down at my hand.

I've had a few dreams where I would do something but then think It was real life. It's just as embarrassing as if I had done it in real life. Yea, not exactly on topic, but I haven't done anything like that....

      ...yet.

One day i got so high smoking hash and pot...
I was forgetting so much things...

I remember that i looked to my friends and yelled out loud: "THIS IS A DREAM, I WANT TO WAKE UP, WAKE UP!!!"

Then all my friends began to laugh uncontrollably at me...

I was sure that i was dreaming, and i was in garage, that have a darkly look.

I got 2 hours to be "aware" that i was not dreaming
