Hey everybody. I'm a freshmen in college, and I've decided to write a research paper on Lucid Dreaming, and it's benefits to those who do it. I haven't started writing it yet, nor have I really even begun truly researching it. It's due in Decemer, so I'm going to get started soon.

First, I chose this topic because I feel I know quite a bit about it (especially being as I'm on this site everyday, usually). Second, I'm a beginner lucid dreamer (i've never caught onto an induction technique that works for me...but I enjoy gathering the knowledge.) and I'd like to learn even more than what I know now.

With that said, I'm having a little trouble finding credible sources for my paper. My first rough annotated bibliography that was due was good, but it needed to be worked on a bit more. The reason being because all of my sources were from Stephen LaBerge (most of them, anyway) and he requested I find other sources.

My thesis is (as of now) "Lucid Dreaming is beneficial for those who do it". He accepted this thesis without critique.

Some sources I'd (ideally) like to find would be writings regarding the earliest recollections of Lucid Dreams, early beliefs/theories as to what they are, how lucid dreams can be beneficial, so on so forth. I'm just having some trouble! Can anyone point me in the right direction? Help!
