Is there such a thing as a lucid dream....dream?

I know what you're thinking, no there isn't you're an idiot be quiet newbie....but seriously. Its felt like I've had dreams about lucid dreams, however, some would say that this is actually just a low level of consciousness. What do you think of this and has anyone had a similar experience.

yes a lot of people have them when they first take up lucid dreaming personally i call them fake lucids and they piss me the hell off

I would say the closest I have come to a lucid dream so far is a dream like this. I dreamed I was in a lucid, trying to fly, but I couldn't... I never actually knew I was dreaming. Silly brain! Why do you do the things you do? We may never know.

Yes, they exist; I've had them. They're pretty common, especially when you're first getting into it. In the end, though they're just dreams about being lucid unless you actually realize you're dreaming.
