I have had nightmares my whole life but I am more worried about what happens to me physically after the dreams. Some time during the dream I become awake and the dream is transfered to where I am like my room. I see both the room and my dream at the same time. Usually there is some demon or something in the room and I try to atack it, which results in me hurting myself. I have woke up in the passenger seat of a car and saw something in the road so I grabbed the steering wheel to swerve around it. I have also chased something around the house that ended up being a dream image. These are just a few examples of what happens to me. This happens in 90% of my dreams. I am to the point now where I realise it is happening and just wait for it to end but sometimes I can not. I came across this forum because I was reading about Lucid Dreaming. I am aware that I am dreaming around 90% of the time but even though I am aware I kind of just let it happen, does that qualify as lucid dreaming? 2 nights ago it was different and while I was dreaming I was fully awake in my dream having full control, full knowing I was so awake it was weird but the images and my dream itself were hard to keep stable. Everything kept switching around and it was almost like I was viewing images in my head but couldnt keep focused on one. |
