Thread: Asking dream characters what's going on in there

I wish I could understand why I have certain behaviours and emotions that seem to spring up from nowhere. My best bet is that people's desires and automatic acting are both unconscious processes.

I know this might sound far fetched cause it's just a dream, but has anyone managed to actually ask anyone in their dreams what's going on in their unconscious mind? And has it produced any luck?

Once I actually start lucid dreaming again this is what I want to try to find out. I know that there are certain aspects of the mind that are aware of things that you might not be consciously, so is it a fair bet that the dreaming mind might be able to provide you with clues or answers?

I think the unconscious mind would make a great detective. Its great at picking up on the little things that don't seem that important. If my conscious mind had access to my unconscious mind in a dream I would wake up feeling very enlightened. One of my main lucid goals is to find my subconscious and hopefully learn how to be more aware.

I'd love to, but in the past, whenever a DC tries to tell me something important, the dream becomes unstable. Like super-unstable, or it just shatters completely

I am yet to try it.
I will give this a go tonight. Do you have any suggestions to what I might ask?
