      is this a 'Lucid Dream'?

I dream of moving back to Long Island (New York).. And I can hear myself saying.. This is the best dream ever, I hope it never ends.. And sometimes it seems like it lasts longer then it should after that.. And I have this dream at least once a week.

Is that a lucid dream? Or just partially?

It is hard to answer if I havent experienced it, however I think it wasnt a LD. LDs are nothing like what you describe, because apparently you didnt mean what you said. You were close though. Try to be more panctual with your RCs, that will definately help. If that happens that often, you can use it as a dream sign!

Well, being Lucid is when you know you are dreaming... So, if you say that without realizing you are dreaming, or without becoming conscious and aware of your self in that dream, you're not lucid.... At least that's how I see it ....

This. Lucidity isn't being able to control your dreams, being able to use magic, or having any other unusual ability. Lucid dream is simply being aware that you are dreaming. In the case you presented, one could say you are at a low state of lucidity, where your subconscious is hinting that you are dreaming without you fully grasping it.

Its just a dream. Dreams vary greatly, and many portray different properties, but it is generally agreed that the two basic flavors of dreams are:

      Lucid

      Non-lucid

A lucid dream is a dream in which you know you are dreaming. A lucid dream is not a dream in which you have control.

A non-lucid dream is a dream in which you do not know you are dreaming.

Also, not every dream means something.
