I was just wondering, in Lucid Dreams are the DC's like normal people? like if you were to shoot someone down the street does everyone else like scream and run? or say you were running naked down the street would people look at you and think WTF? Lol sorry i was just wondering about what the DC's would be like... I got a picture that DC's will do whatever i would think they would do after all it is my mind... What are they like?

It really just depends - their behavior can change from dream to dream. I got a picture that DC's will do whatever i would think they would do after all it is my mind You will eventually find that sometimes they do exactly what you think they will and other times they confound you by doing something totally unexpected.

haha thats awesome as! I have read a few posts from people saying how anoying they can be, but i can't picture them being that anoying, but then again it all comes down to experience

What ever you want them to be like. Well some people have real trouble getting rid of them so i think it would be a little different then that otherwise no one would have such a problem with it

Your subconsciousness creates a world around you, taking it's information from the experiences you do in you life every day. So if you walk down a street in a dream, the DC's behave like your subconsciousness expects them to do.

Well could i change the outcome then? Like say i pull a gun out and shoot it in the air down the main street... I would expect everyone to screem and duck or something like that, what if i thought to myself "I would expect everyone to jump up and down when i shoot a gun" and I really believed it and then do it, would they jump up and down? Just an experiment

DC'S always get mad at you if you talk about dreaming to them.

Yeah, i only tried talking to DC's about dreaming one time, after i saw the movie "Waking life" I asked, Are you dreaming? No they said. Then i asked do you realise you are in a dream? And they got really confused,to bad i woke up after it. i should try it again. Mostly when i get lucid talking to DC's seems the last thing on my mind. And when i do start talking to them i'm like only half-lucid... So we start talking about useless stuff and then i would wake up and think : crap, what a waste of lucid dream Wich is a shame cus it surely can bring up some intresting situations And i doubt you're experiment would work. I tried "manipulating" things with my mind,it's hard but definitly possible. But most stuff our subconcious expects to happen in certain situation's, so i think it might be hard to change that...

haha my first lucid after starting the forums I asked my DC's how their dreams were going and they all said something like "great," or "awesome"

Haha nice resoul! Ive always wanted to convince one hes just a DC and watch him go mad It would be pretty fun... Or give a DC powers and watch him abuse them

I tried the opposite when i got lucid in my friends company One time i tried convincing my friend that we are dreaming and wanted him to fly with me, but he couldn't, he just stud there looking very shocked and amazed as i took of And another time i was walking on the street with a friend as i got lucid, i was like yeah man,we are dreaming, i'm lucid! And so i wanted to proof it to him by running underneath a big speeding truck, but i chickened out just in time and realised my friend wasn't real and just left him behind. And on another occasion i was just sitting talking to a friend as i got lucid. So i very politely asked him if i could be excused to fly a little, and told him i'd definitly come back to talk some more in like 5 minutes. He understood and said i should enjoy myself Also one time i showed my mom i could fly, i just said : Look mom, look what i can do! And i was just hovering in the air in a kindof buddha like position

DCs act totally random for me. But they act like normal people. Except, in extreme situations!

I don't like my DCs, they are kinda boring. I tried asking for help from one of them, but they never seem to do what I tell them... but, there was this one time they were all wrestling me to the floor once i went lucid... unpredictable, but usually very mundane

Last night i was LD and i seen my friend and for some reason i was like, ok, i hope that for some reason he doesnt go all haywire on me, i have no idea why i thought that, and the next thing you know, he hits me with a pool cue, im like dude stop, and he does lol. But that shit really hurt! Wtf guys i thought you said i couldnt get hurt in dreams lol

I once had a gun put against my back in a lucid dream, and the DC walked me out of a long hallway with the gun pressed against my back... After we got outside he kept pointing it at me untill i whent away. He did not fire the gun but it hurted real bad! i whent on through the street and decided to wake myself up because it really hurted that bad! So when i woke up that spot on my back kept on hurting for a few minutes... Swear to god!
