A couple nights ago I had a lucid dream as a result of the DILD technique. A little ways into the dream it started to fade and I could tell it was just about to end. As quickly as I could I did a dream spin and grabbed a pole that was next to me and started feeling it in hopes that this would prolong the dream. The dream scene disappeared and I suddenly saw crazy psychedelic patterns everywhere. I could feel my body in my bed for a few seconds, then I was right back in the same dream. Was this a successful DEILD? |

Lucid Dreams: 22 (many more recently, I've stopped counting) (DILD: 20 --- DEILD: 2)
This is a fact: Anything and everything that is unrelated to elephants is irrelephant.
Cool thanks for the input. I kinda figured it was but I thought I was supposed to take longer than like 5 seconds lol. |

Wow, that was one fast DEILD. |

Yes you can call it that. A true Dield is when you completely are removed from the dream. Your consciousness shifts to your closed eyelids in bed. Then you put yourself back in that dream. |

Hah ya it was pretty weird I didn't really know what happened at first. I thought I successfully prolonged the dream, but I do remember distinctly feeling my body in bed. |

Definitely a DEILD. Fact is you woke up (or were waking up) and fell back into the dream. |
