My first LD... i think...

Hey, exactly 2 weeks after i joined DV i think i had a LD. I had a really long non-lucid dream about Bowling bowls that were alive (LOL) Then i had a dream where i was in a room, it was all black and white, i could see a window and nothing more i think, i think i attained lucidity but i didnt question myself or anything, i felt the dream starting to fall apart so i tried spinning, i think it worked, but then i guess i got too excited and woke, it was a 5-10 seconds, i really felt like a dream in a dream, so i really doubt it was a real LD... but if it was... AWESOME

Hey, it sounds like a typical 1st LD to me. Mine was similar... only lasted about 3 seconds and fell apart... probably got too excited on realizing you were lucid. A lot of people do the same thing pretty soon after they learn about lucidity. My dream happened just about the first day I tried to achieve lucidity (first day or 2, not sure), then it took a month before I got another one, and that one was a lot longer and a lot better. Keep at it... it's an encouraging sign.

the thing is, i dont know if it was a DILD or a WBTB, because i wake up a lot of times during the night and i developed the hability of waking up without opening my eyes
