Lucid Dreaming The Thread

Hello All! I know many of you will say we have plenty of threads like this but I know none will be like this one. I myself am a newcomer to the forum and I have an idea for introducing lucid dreaming to other newcomers. In this thread my goal is to provide readers with ideas, and a general understanding of lucid dreaming. If you guys could chip in, maybe this could become official? I hope this helps guide the ways of many newcomers, and help them have their first lucid dream. What is Lucid Dreaming? Lucid dreaming is a term describing awareness or consciousness of your dream. It may sound complicated, but in simple terms, *with lucidity you have the capability to control your dream.* *With practice Some Lucid Dreaming Ideas: Randomly Ranging from Advanced to Beginner Dream Ideas 1. [] Create a transportation station to use in all of your dreams 2. [] FLY 3. [] Drive a car 4. [] Meet people who you may not be able to in real life (Celeberties, relatives who passed away/live far away, etc.) 5. [] Listen to music 6. [] Ride a dragon 7. I do not know a great deal about lucid dreaming in general, but I do know the various methods. That makes sense, however this may be another alternative in any case. Its good to have all the information in one place, is it not? If you visit that dreamviews link, it is a separate website, with an overall view of lucid dreaming, its aims, methods, etc. Please visit that before you post without knowledge of what you are posting... Thanks! -Dave

I don't think so, Dreamviews.com and the forum already have highly organized and informative articles that are easy to locate. This one topic will never have as much information. I see it mostly being just links to other articles. If the staff found it necessary to create a sticky topic, they would make one themselves. There is very little need for this.

I appreciate the insight, however if there are newcomers who are overwhelmed by the amount if information, they may see this thread (as it is in only the second sub-forum) and be able to further knowledge themselves by finding the best way to find the resources they need. Like a portal. It is not me trying to develop a popular thread to get my name out there, if you have thought that, then it is a very big misconception. My "goal" is to help new people that come, to find all the information they need not to be confused later on. I don't know about you, Loaf, but I joined with little to no knowledge about lucid dreaming. I was pretty confused with all this information. Needless to say, there are other people like me, who might be confused as well. This may or may not help them, but isn't it right to at least try and attempt to help them in a way you yourself see fit? I am not trying to be mean, or flame your criticism, I am simply stating my opinion. If many people disagree with this thread, then I understand. I appreciate you telling what I may have done incorrectly. Thanks, -CV
