      Question Fading into awake

Hey, I am going to start trying to lucid dream again after not bothering with it for months. I had a spontaneous lucid dream last night that made me want to start again just from the kindness of some of my dream characters and the reality of it all. However, in just about every single lucid that I have had, after a few seconds everything just quickly fades to black and I'm suddenly awake again. It is too quick to really do anything about it whilst it is happening. I would ask my dream guide but I don't have enough time in my dreams to do it :\

      Any ideas?

      Relax, Stabilize, Clarity, Enjoy.

      Take a breath, calm down.

Then rub your hands and touch objects, you can even try spinning, this is also a great time for some reality checking.

Now ask for clarity out loud in your dream and continue rubbing and feeling the air and sensations of your body.

Now enjoy your lucid dream and make sure to rub your hands together every little while or when you feel it starting to fade.

Am I dreaming? Do a Reality Check. Is this is a dream?

      Thanks for the advice!

For some reason I have had a lucid dream a night for 4 nights running so far without doing any kind of technique etc for months, after I read your post I tried just being more calm, making it enjoyable and not rushing into the dream and I have had another 3 decent sized lucid dreams Thanks again.
