My First Lucid Dream!!! ... ?

      8:48am Jan 1 - My so-called Lucid Experience

All I remember is realizing I'm dreaming... details are sketchy. I remember it was clear then, but now I forgot. I was running down a street... a cop was running along side of me. I easily ran past him and thought / said: "wow, you really suck ass," because I knew I was dreaming. I stood there, in awareness, wondering what to do. I guess I "took it all in". I felt what it was like to be lucid. I tried sensing my reallife sleeping body, and I felt my mind free from it. I was surprised I didn't wake up by now! The dream began to fade, as my excitement gradually increased, and at the last minute I remembered I had to spin. I twirled and it is at that point, I believe, I lost my lucidity. Wait.. no. It worked. [lost that thought -->]I think i kept running. Then slowly, my lucidity fades into a normal dream.

Somehow we design / make a cop car. We decide to drive around my neighborhood. There are an unusually high number of cars out... Too high; it was crazy. Now we take a turn, turn on the lights and sirens, going around our block travelling a thousand miles per hour... we're back home in 5 seconds. I was driving... It all was clear... thinking that fast, driving. We park the car, are return to our pizza, in hopes to eliminate suspicion (my dreams are sketchy.. we were eating this pizza before we left). Homemade. It was very good by the way.

Later real cops come and talk to us. They ask us questions and eventually leave. [major dream gap here? haha]

later I wake up and go on 1 of our computers to dreamviews to tell you all about my Lucid Experience. I was 80% sure at the time that it was true. (Of course, whilst experiencing my experiencce, I was 100%).

False awakening (I never have those). I really wake up at 8:48. I suddenly notice I feel only about 60-70% sure that I had a Lucid Dream, because of the false awakening. (Then I proceed to write it all down).

      The end.
This is actually one of the more vivid or "in-depth" dreams of mine, but it's always sketchy! There are a lot more details I rememeber, but they're so loose and skattered it would be too confusing.

So what do you all think? Lucid dream? Or... Can you genuinely dream a lucid dream? I hope not.

I got a hourly-chiming watch 2 days ago, been wearing it ever since. I believe this is what sparked my lucidity, because I don't recall HOW I realized I was dreaming. (But I still should remember doing a reality check... eh!) Soon, whilst writing everything down, 9:00am it beeped, and I did a reality check.

So that's it. What do you all think?

as paperdoll always says, "never get excited"
it can screw you up alot.

Do you think I should adhere to that pressing new frontier?
And leave in my wake a trip of fear? Or should I hold my head up high
And throw a wrench in spokes by, leaving the air behind me clear?[/b]

Yeah, lots of books say "never get excited, you might get overexcited and end up waking up", and even I've said it somewhere.

      Oh, and congratulations.
